The average annual precipitation is only 37 inches, the normal high temperature in summer is 75 degrees with very little humidity. In winter, the high temperature is usually 44 degrees. Thanks to Tacoma’s location near Puget Sound, the warming influence of the salt water and the protection of the Cascade Mountain range provides a comfortably mild climate.
