Washington Filmworks asks you to share your story!

Columnist Peter Callaghan from the Tacoma News Tribune recently wrote a column about the state's film production incentive program.  He suggests there is a lack of evidence that the production incentive program has created jobs and brought dollars to the state. Steve Krueger, the President of the Seattle local American Federation of Television and Radio, responded directly to Callaghan's column with his letter to the Editor. Here's a link to his Krueger's response.

Since launching the program in February 2007, a total of 59 projects have completed principal photography bringing an estimated $55M into our local economies.  These projects put Washington residents to work and create family wage jobs that provide health and retirement benefits.  Thanks, Steve.  For taking the time to make these very important points to the Tacoma News Tribune.

Office Closure

Please be advised Washington Filmworks will be close December 24 - December 31.
