WASHINGTON FILM CONTINUES TO WORK

Washington Filmworks is working diligently with the four feature films that are scheduled to go in to production in the coming weeks.  In addition to funding assistance for these projects, WF continues to help with securing locations, assisting with permits and answering general questions about shooting in Washington state.  As a reminder to the film community, WF houses over 20 years of production information in-house and is happy to help facilitate your production questions.

Washington Filmworks is proud to announce July's Location of the Month.  This featured location will help showcase the wealth of diversity in locations across our state.  If you have a location you'd like featured as a Location of the Month, please submit to us via info@washingtonfilmworks.org.

This month we feature a Seattle landmark that boasts perhaps the best vista anywhere in the city.

Kerry Park  was given to the city in 1927 and ever since then it has provided residents and visitors with views of Elliott Bay, Mt Rainer, the Seattle skyline and the islands that dot Puget Sound.  Kerry Park is owned by the City of Seattle. Filmmakers have long used Kerry Park and the view has been a part of 10 Things I Hate About You(1999), The Amazing Race and The Details (2009).
